It was great last year when I was doing a kind of crash-course in the history of photography. The people at the library — Beth, Steve, Laura, Mary Ann, Nelia & Colleen — they all helped in one way or another and made me feel so welcome.
I used interlibrary loan to get a raft of readings on Susan Sontag. (Yes, it was a strange time.) And within 10 days I had all my books and away I went.
Sure, they don’t have a Keurig and the computers are a little crowded, but the people there make up for some of these shortcomings. The West Tisbury Library is a warm & caring place. I really want to be there.
